Get to know me!
I grew up on the westside of Indianapolis and eventually moved to northeastern Indiana with my parents in high school. My college years at Taylor University included too much time in the Media & Journalism lab, along with positions as a Resident Assistant, Student Ambassador and Senior Class Vice President! If I could do college over again, I would!
Since graduating from college, I have had positions in the nonprofit, commercial, and government industries.
My husband, Mark, and I have two children, Maggie Fran and Calvin.
Now as a freelancer, I help businesses and organizations with different facets of Communications and Marketing, including communication pieces for both internal and external uses, website and social media content, engaging the public to promote business'/organizations’ missions, and brand creation and awareness!

Marion Utilities provides utility services for the city of Marion, Indiana. As the Communication Specialist of Marion Utilities, I helped implement brand policies for the website, social media channels, and Communication pieces, both internal and externally. I also created content for all communications and marketing pieces.
Liberty Baptist Church is a church in Sweetser, Indiana. As their Social and Website Coordinator, I create all content and graphics for the church social media channels, as well as maintaining the website, and upholding their brand guidelines for their internal and external outreach pieces.
The Town Board of Swayzee, Indiana contracted my services to institute a new brand and content throughout its social media channel. As well as creating and designing a new town website.
Computer Age Engineering designs and builds machinery for industries such as automotive, consumer electronics, food, rubber and plastics, and distribution. CAE contracted me to update their website.
InFocus Eyecare is an eye care provider at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Marion, Indiana. Dr. Scase contracted me to create and curate content for his social media channels.
Randall Miller is a surveying and engineering firm located in Marion, Indiana. They contracted me to update and maintain their website.
Bridgestone Junior Golf Tour is a nonprofit Golf Tour in Central Indiana that provides affordable, competitive golf tournaments to children and teenagers. I assisted the Founder with sending email communication to golfers, as well as website and social media maintenance.
Grace House is a residential program established to help men in their process of recovery from substance abuse/addiction. Grace House contracted me to update their website with new branding, content and a fresh look.
